
Shidoden
@The Memorial Service Hall (shidoden) contains thousands of memorial tablets for lay followers and their relatives.
@It is also the place where memorial services are performed at the request of lay followers, for their relatives and friends.
@The big ojuzu (set of buddhist beads) above the entrance to the shidoden is 18 meters long. Made of cherry wood, the ojuzu was offered by a layman from Nagoya at the end of World War K as a symbol of the hope for peace throughout the world.
