Eiheiji's Buildings

 This panoramic view of Eiheiji, painted on a single sheet of handmade wasi (Japanes paper), is about 5-1/2 meters square.


 A priest in Aichi prefecture worked 4-1/2 years to complete it in 1964. It show not only an overall view of Eiheiji but slso characteristics of the four seasons, with winter at the top, spring on the left, fall on the right, and summer at the bottom.
